Our niece turned one last week and had her first birthday party over the weekend. The whole J clan was in town to celebrate, all 14 of us. Cue the fun and craziness!

It’s unbelievable how fast time goes by. It seems like just yesterday that she was born. Happy Birthday to the little princess A! We love you!

Have you ever had a night-time barbecue when it’s cold outside? It’s actually quite wonderful. The only thing we were missing was a fire pit to roast marshmallows over. I wish I had gotten good picture of it.

It’s always a lot of fun when all of us get together. I’ve always wanted a big family and now, I get to be part of one. Yes, its hectic, yes, it’s crazy, and yes, it can wear you out (and it will). But in the midst of all that, there’s a feeling that arises and makes you think, this is what family is all about.
