I’ve been really preoccupied lately.  The few free seconds I have during the day have been dedicated towards my D-I-Y projects for S’ dohl.  The husband always gets mad at me for committing to D-I-Y projects because he says I have too many ideas and am always too optimistic about the amount of time it will take to complete.  Basically, I lack focus, never give myself enough time to finish the project, and then stress myself out at the last hour.  So, I decided to be better this time and give myself PLENTY of time.   But I’ve still been in a D-I-Y frenzy.  Now, it’s about a month away and I’m starting to feel the crunch!  I’ll try to post some peek pics as I start wrapping things up.

Speaking of her dohl being right around the corner, S turned 11 months this past week.  I really cannot believe it.  When did my baby get so big?  Sometimes, it is really hard for me to even believe that she grew in my belly and came out of my body, even though I was there, I lived through it.  But it’s still surreal to me that I am someone’s mom.  And I find myself getting so sentimental about everything, like her 11 month birthday.  I used to never cry and now I find myself getting all weepy at the drop of a dime.  I guess this happens as you get older, all overly emotional and sensitive.  I hope I will be able to keep it together when she turns 1!

S is going through this really funny stage right now where she wants to imitate everything we do.  She’ll try to wink, sing, talk like us.  It’s pretty entertaining.  Here’s her goofing around with her dad.
